THIS MESSAGE IS BCC'd TO MEAC MEMBERS

FOR WHOM I HAVE AN E-MAIL ADDRESS

I regret to announce that Keith McKinnon died peacefully at home on 7 December 1999 at the age of 67.

Keith entered CMR in 1952 as a member of the founding class. He started his summer training as a pilot but transferred to RCAF Construction Engineering. His education continued through RMC and the University of Manitoba, where he gained a BSc in Civil Engineering.

Keith will be remembered by many as he served with distinction and provided construction engineering leadership in all three environments, having served in Baden Soellingen, Esquimalt and Shilo. He also worked with the US Air Force, attached to the Office of the Inspector General. He was Project Manager for Facilities Development at NDHQ, where he was responsible for closing redundant offices all over Ottawa and consolidating them into the relatively few buildings which exist today.

Friends may visit at the Central Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 315 McLeod St. on Saturday, 11 December from 1400 to 1600 hrs and on Sunday from 1400 to 1600 hrs and 1900 to 2100 hrs. Funeral Service will be held on Monday, 13 December 1999 at 1100 hrs in the Chapel.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.

The address of Keith's widow, Monique, is available on request.
