Parade and Badges
The duff weather moved the Saturday Ceremonial Parade inside. There seemed to be a consensus that the recruits looked particularly sharp. I overheard one woman remark that they looked better than the other years. Perhaps the time at CMR pays more than just academic dividends.
Thirty-two of our classmates had the happy task of presenting cap badges to the recruits to mark their formal acceptance into the cadet wing.
In each case our classmate was escorted to and from the flight where he presented the badges. That way, nobody became lost or forgot why he was there.
After the parade, this disorganized group finally came together for the inevitable class picture.
