Hiking in Italy

Reporting on another hike taken recently to Italy to the Lake Como district in May. We did a six day hike from Brunate to Bellagio hiking from inn to inn organized for us by Worldwalks of England. They took our luggage ahead each day and Mavis and I carried a day pack with lunch and water, etc.We were on our own but had directions for each days trip. The weather was great and the accommodations were perfect. One of the inns was an aggretourismo (a working farm) so we had fresh everything for dinner and breakfast. We ended up spending several days in Bellagio and had a chance to relax and explore the small towns around the lake by ferry. Here's a picture on top of San Primo taken just before we descend an almost vertical path down to our last inn .Fortunately, you can't see the rope attached to my waist with which Mavis helped me up to the top!! Also attached is a picture of Varano, a small town across the lake from Bellagio.
